Three Projects Awarded During the Closing Session of the LX Reactor

Bartender Bot, C-trino and Scissors are the names of the three projects awarded at the closing session of the LX Reactor, a tech and design summer camp organized by HackerSchool with the aim of “helping to make”.

In this second edition, which joined dozens of students, during three weeks in Instituto Superior Técnico, “to break, learn and build” (break. learn. build. the HackerSchool’s slogan), developing engineering and technology related projects.

At the closing session, where all projects were presented to a jury, the C-trine, an extension for Arduino which was initially thought in the first edition of the LX Reactor in 2013, won the Hardware Award. The Software Award was given to Scissors a collaborative text editor project.

The Lunacloud’s Innovation Award went to the Bartender Bot, a robot able to serve all kinds of drinks and cocktails automatically, and also able to manage the remaining amount of the beverage in the tanks.

Lunacloud offered a prize of €100 in cloud services to the winning project and was once again sponsoring a tech entrepreneurship event, supporting the creation of some innovative projects.
